The Registered Nurse will work with an interdisciplinary group to coordinate the medical care, pharmaceutical services, and social welfare of all patients living in long term care.
We are looking for an individual that is compassionate, outgoing and willing to take initiative in caring for patients.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications under supervision of a physician.
Assess patient's condition, administer prescribed medications, and test results to determine patient's progress.
Observe and record patient's response to treatment.
Provide emotional support for patients and families.
Assist patients with activities of daily living to maintain comfort and safety.
Monitor physical therapy exercise sessions.
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
Document the care given in patients' records.
